• The ports can be configured for terminal devices that support authentication in accordance with IEEE 802.1x. Authentication is by means of a RADIUS server that must be configured appropriately and must be accessible via the network.

• Diagnostics on the device by means of LEDs (power, link status, data traffic, fault, redundancy manager)
• Fault signaling contact can be easily set by means of the SELECT/SET button for simple display of faults
• The devices feature PROFINET diagnostics, SNMP access, integral web server and automatic e-mail sending function for remote diagnostics and signaling over the network
