The right network transition every time

For every network type, in every industrial automation system: Our network transitions make a decisive contribution to integrated communication. Network transitions between Industrial Ethernet, PROFIBUS and AS-Interface are implemented by means of links, controllers or PCs. If the transition is implemented by a link, no further logic operations are required, whereas in the case of controllers and PCs, integrated interfaces and communications processors are used for the network transition.

When combining IE/PB Link PN IO with SCALANCE W Clients (W722 RJ45), a network transition can also be implemented by PROFIBUS on Industrial Wireless LAN. In this way, PROFIBUS devices can continue to be used and integrated into a PROFINET environment including Wireless LAN, even with PROFIsafe.
