Distribution boards

Industrial distribution boards are used for extending and/or multiplying interfaces. The distribution boards offered here are optimized for SIMATIC devices and intended for industrial use.

This also includes the interface extensions. A USB device port with IP65 protection is provided on the front of the cabinet or console.

USB extension

Installation of an external USB interface is practical if external input devices or mass storage devices are frequently connected to a SIMATIC HMI PRO device. The USB interface can optionally be mounted at the top or bottom of the device. Use of the USB interface increases the availability of the system to be operated. It is also no longer necessary to open the backplane of the SIMATIC HMI PRO device to connect I/O.

• Permits the simultaneous connection of up to four I/O devices such as USB stick, USB flash drive, mouse, keyboard, printer or barcode reader to a central USB interface.
• Increases the availability of the system to be operated. The control cabinet door no longer has to be opened in order to connect peripherals. Operation is possible at any time from the Panel or PC.
