The measuring element is a full cylinder on which four strain-gages are applied.

The load acting centrally in the direction of measurement elastically deforms the spring elements and thus also the force-locked strain-gages. This generates a measurement voltage proportional to the load.

The rated measurement path of the load cells depends on the rated load and lies between 0.23 and 2.67 mm.
