Short code table

The following table gives an overview over short codes used for DC motors.

The use of these short codes with various motor versions and frame sizes is described in Catalog DA 12 · 2004, chapter “Selection and Ordering – Options”.

Dimension designations are in accordance with DIN 42939. All dimensions are in mm.

The shaft ends and centring spigot diameters specified in the dimension tables are machined in accordance with the fits specified in the following table.

Undercut

All motors are provided with an undercut whereby the design for motors from frame size 180 upwards is in accordance with form E of DIN 509.

The designations specified in the DIN standard are referred to in the dimension tables as follows (to prevent erroneous reference to keyway dimension t1):
