Network topology and network configuration

The SCALANCE XR-100WG switches are installed in 19" installation cabinets. They can be used in line or star topologies.

When configuring the network, the following boundary conditions must be observed:

• Length of the TP cable between two SCALANCE XR-100WG switches:
  • Max. 100 m with Industrial Ethernet twisted pair cables
