Integration of the automation technology into the PLM system Teamcenter is achieved using the TIA Portal Teamcenter Gateway. Cross-discipline and consistent data management of all machine data is then possible. The automation engineer can be integrated in Teamcenter workflows based on business processes within the company, e.g. in release processes.
