The battery module housings are equipped with a holder for two batteries. The batteries are not included in the scope of delivery. For use in the battery module housing, two lithium-metal batteries that can withstand high current (primary cells, not rechargeable) are needed in each case.

The batteries must meet the following requirements:

  • Nominal voltage (V_nom): 3.6 V
  • Min. continuous current: 1800 mA
  • Min. pulse current: 4000 mA
  • Important: Protection against short circuit (protection against over-temperature): Fuse or temperature-dependent resistor
• Geometric data
  • Size according to ANSI: D (mono)
  • Maximum diameter: 33.4 mm
  • Maximum height: 61.5 mm
• Approved battery types:
  • SAFT, LSH20
  • EVE, 34615M

Up to two battery modules can be connected to an RTU3000C. Each of these can be supplemented with one or two battery expansion modules to increase the battery capacity.
