As all the cable connector parts are captive, it can also be fitted in difficult conditions.

The new plug-in connector enables point-to-point links to be implemented (10/100/1000 Mbit/s) for Industrial Ethernet between two data terminals/network components up to 100 m apart without the need for patches.
