The interface module IM 157-1 PN can be mounted in any position on even surfaces or on aluminum mounting rails.

The IM 157-1 PN features the following:

• Two backplane bus outlets (ET connection 1 and 2) for connection of the I/O modules.
• A power supply connection with M8 connection technology with forwarding.
• Diagnostics displays for operation (RUN), errors (Error), maintenance (MAINT), and one link LED per port.
• Labels for the identification of interfaces, modules and slots.
• Integrated cable tie opening.
• Clear labeling on front of module:
  • Plain text identification of the module type
  • Interface designation
  • LED label
• Clear labeling on side of module:
  • Article number, functional status and FW version
  • 2D matrix code (article and serial number)
  • Pin assignment of all interfaces
