The CP is plugged straight into the S7-1200/ET200SP and is connected to the CPU via the backplane bus. The telecontrol station is programmed and configured with STEP 7 Basic/Professional V14 (TIA Portal) or higher.

The MODEM MD720 has an RS232 interface and is connected to the S7-200 controller using the Siemens PPI adapter.

The SIMATIC RTU3030C is configured via a web server (Web based Management / WBM).
