Phase-out/discontinuation or SIRIUS 3RP15 timing relays

The phase-out period for SIRIUS 3RP15 timing relays began in October 2015. The devices will no longer available for ordering as from October 1, 2018. We therefore recommend that you do not delay in ordering the successor generation of timing relays, SIRIUS 3RP25!

The old devices can be replaced with devices from the new generation without restrictions. For old to new conversions, as well as for conversions from other suppliers, our conversion tool is available online at http://www.siemens.com/sirius/conversion-tool.

Solid-state SIRIUS 3RP15 timing relays for general use in control systems and machine building with:

• IEC 60947-5-1 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear – Electromechanical control circuit devices"

Multifunctional timing relay 3RP1505

The functions of the multifunctional timing relay 3RP1505 can be set using the function selector switch. The choice of whether both changeover contacts perform simultaneous delayed switching, or whether one switches with a delay and one switches instantaneously, as well as the selected timing range, is made using the time setting range selector switch. The precise operating time can be set using the operating time switch. The selectable functions can be clearly and unambiguously labeled on the timing relay using insert labels. The corresponding labels can be ordered as accessories. The same potential must be applied to terminals A. and B. For functions see label set 3RP1901.

Note:

The activation of loads parallel to the start input is not permissible when using AC control voltage (see diagrams).
