The 3RA14 contactor assemblies for star-delta (wye-delta) starting in sizes S00 to S3 can be ordered as follows:

Fully wired and tested, with electrical interlock, reversing time up to 10В s (sizeВ S00 with electrical and mechanical interlocks)
All individual parts for customer assembly, see "Accessories and Spare Parts" в†’ "for SIRIUS 3RT1 Contactors and SIRIUS 3RH1 Contactor Relays".

The 3RA14 contactor assemblies for star-delta (wye-delta) starting have screw terminals and are suitable for screw and snap-on mounting onto THВ 35 standard mounting rails. They are designed for standard applications.

Fully wired and tested 3RA14В contactor assemblies for star-delta (wye-delta) starting have one unassigned NO contact which is mounted onto the front of the Q3 delta contactor.

A solid-state time-delay auxiliary switch block is snapped onto the front of the complete contactor assemblies for star-delta (wye-delta) starting, sizeВ S00 up to 7.5В kW, while a timing relay is mounted onto the side of sizesВ S0 to S3, 11В kW to 75В kW. A dead interval of 50В ms on reversing is integrated into the time relay function.

Surge suppression

All contactor assemblies for star-delta (wye-delta) starting can be fitted with RC elements, varistors or diode assemblies for damping opening surges in the coil. As with the individual contactors, the surge suppressors can either be plugged onto the top of the contactors (S00) or fitted onto the coil terminals on the top or bottom (S0 to S3).

Motor protection

3RB2 overload relays (see "Protection Devices"), SIMOCODE pro 3UF7 motor management and control devices (see "Monitoring and Control Devices") or 3RN thermistor motor protection evaluation devices (see "Monitoring and Control Devices" в†’ "Relays") can be used as overload protection. The overload relay can be either mounted onto the line contactor or separately fitted. It must be set to 0.58 times the rated motor current.
