On-site service

For the SINUMERIK 828D BASIC and SINUMERIK 828D and the associated components¹⁾, you will receive a free on-site service contract for a period of 24В months from Siemens Industry Sector DF & PD.

The control is automatically registered on dispatch from the factory and the 24-month contract period begins. When arrival at the final destination or second commissioning is registered online (identSNAPSHOT) within 24В months following dispatch, the on-site service contract period is extended to 36В months.

On-site service includes:

• Provision of servicing personnel
• On-site diagnostics
• Fault correction on site
• Proof of fault correction

The fault correction is carried out by repairing and/or replacing faulty components.
