SIDOOR geared motors are available in two technological versions.

DC geared motors are driven by SIDOOR controllers with DC technology, and EC geared motors are driven by SIDOOR controllers with EC technology.

Geared motors are a combination of gear unit, motor and sensor. They are easy to connect to the controller via the interface provided and are automatically detected during commissioning.

The maintenance-free, variable speed drive unit comprises a DC motor with non-self-locking gearing.

The geared motors must be selected according to the dynamic door weight. Two different versions are available for the SIDOOR M2 to SIDOOR M4 DC geared motors as well as the SIDOOR MEG250 EC geared motor.

The gear outlet direction is defined as left or right when viewing the gear unit from the front.
