Surge arresters with high energy discharge capability

Next to the typical distribution class surge arresters, Siemens offers the 3EJ Cage Designв„ў surge arrester product family with higher energy discharge capabilities, providing a low protection level. The 3EJ surge arresters protect rotating devices, like generators and motors, arc furnaces, arc furnace transformers, industrial transformers, airfield-lighting systems, cable sheath, capacitors and capacitor banks and converters for drives.
