The trunking units are available in 2 and 3 meter lengths. They comprise a galvanized metal enclosure painted light gray (RAL 7035). They are equipped with 4 busbars for L1, L2, L3, N (aluminium conducting paths, copper for 160 A; silver-plated copper tap and link contacts).

The busbar enclosure is used as PE conductor.

One size serves five levels of current: 40 A, 63 A, 100 A, 125 A and 160 A.

The outgoing points are arranged on one side a distance of 0.5 or 1 m apart. Two or four outgoing points are available on the 2 m length, three or six outgoing points on the 3 m length.

The outgoing points are finger-safe. They are automatically opened by the outgoing units and they close automatically when the outgoing units are removed.

Connection method

The trunking units, including end flanges and feeder units, are assembled quickly and safely by positive arrangement. First the trunking unit or end flange is inserted in the bottom shell of the joint block. Then the joint block top or feeder unit is mounted, and finally a safe connection is is produced by tightening four screws. The PE is connected through connection of the enclosure.

Expansion compensation is integrated in the terminal block.
