The VPM can be used in conjunction with SINAMICS S120 and 1FE1 motors as well as 2SP1 motor spindles.

The VPM must be installed between the motor and drive system (at a maximum distance from the drive system of 1.5 m (4.92 ft). Shielded 6FX8 motor supply cables must be used with the VPM.

Preconditions for operating 1FE1/2SP1 motors:
