High-performance measured data acquisition: The module has 16 analog inputs for analog value acquisition and disturbance variable input as well as 1 additional analog input for temperature compensation when used with thermocouples.

FM 455 C: 16 analog outputs for analog actuators
FM 455 S: 32 digital outputs for motor-driven actuators or binary-controlled actuators.
The 24 V DC supply for the actuators is applied externally.
