Output power
- 16 power channels of 230 V each (8 outputs per phase)
- Max. 1 150 W switching capacity per output at 100% simultaneity
- Max. 14 666 W switching capacity per module
- Power triacs with zero crossover switching
- Protection of triacs and opto-triacs against overvoltages by Transil diodes
Forced ventilation
Depending on the switching capacity and ambient temperature, the power output module may have to be forced ventilated. A fan unit is available as an optional accessory for this purpose(see "Accessories"). For detailed informationsee Manual.
Temperature monitoring
There is an NTC thermistor on the heat sink for monitoring its temperature. In the event of an overtemperature, this temperature-dependent resistor issues a signal to the higher-level controller.
Fuses
On the LA716I power output module an externally accessible 5 A fuse is provided for protection of the power triac. A fuse cover is provided as a shock hazard protection.
Diagnostics facilities
Diagnostics functions are provided as standard to detect the following faults:
- Circuit breaker triac at high resistance or internal fuse blown
- Channel fuse blown on the module
- External fault such as blown fuse, heat emitter or cable breakage
