The angular geared motor with a high power density

Bevel helical geared motors are angular geared motors where the gear unit output shaft is rotated through 90° to the motor shaft. Bevel helical geared units can either have a solid or a hollow shaft. Bevel helical geared motors represent the ideal solution for drive tasks where an angular geared motor with high power density is required with continuously high output torques.

MOTOX bevel helical geared motors are available in the power range up to 200 kW and rated gear unit torques up to 20 ? 10³ Nm.

The geared motors are available in the following versions:

• Foot-mounted or flange-mounted designs
• Design with torque arm
• Solid shaft or hollow shaft designs
• Hollow shaft with feather key, shrink disk, splined shaft

Typical applications

Bevel helical geared motors are, for example, used as travel drives, mixer drives and cable drum drives.
