Overview of the energy management process

We offer you a unique portfolio for efficient energy management in the industry – a process that is used to optimize the energy requirements. We divide operational energy management into the three phases: identification, evaluation and implementation, and support you with suitable hardware and software solutions in each phase of the process.

The 3RT2 contactors contribute to energy efficiency throughout the plant as follows:

• AC/DC coils with electric control for reduced power consumption when closing and in the closed state
• Smaller power supplies in the control circuit due to low holding power at 24V DC
• Reduction of control cabinet temperature rises: Depending on technology, lower intrinsic power loss in contactors, and therefore less cooling required, making a more compact design possible
