The Extension Units for the SIMATIC HMI PRO devices are an example of the system components for devices with all-round IP65 protection. They enable the expansion of the operating options on-site by the installation of various operator controls.

The new Extension Units for the 16:9 PRO devices are suitable for the flexible installation of various operator controls that extend the operating options on site easily and on an individual basis. They are coordinated with the design of the 16:9 PRO devices and can easily be mounted below the device by the customers themselves. They are the successors to the Extension Units for the 4:3 PRO devices.

The Extension Units for 4:3 PRO devices are mounted on the SIMATIC HMI 4:3 PRO device and can be equipped individually, e.g. with Key Panel (KP8), 3SB elements, emergency stop buttons, key switches, RFID readers, etc.
