Adapter sets

The adapter sets are connected to the SIMATIC HMI PRO devices by means of the basic adapter.
The support arm head is connected directly to the intermediate plate of the adapter set from the relevant support arm supplier (for some support arm suppliers, the intermediate plate is not necessary as the supplier arm head is connected directly to the basic adapter).

The following support arm and pedestal systems from various manufacturers are supported.

Basic adapter

Adaptation to support arm/pedestal systems is possible using the basic adapter. It also enables connection to other PRO accessories, e.g. the Extension Units for 4:3 PRO devices. For the 4:3 and 16:9 versions, basic adapters matching the design are available and included in the scope of delivery.

Flange mount

The "prepared for support arm and extension components" version of the 16:9 PRO devices is suitable for mounting to a support arm system with a round tube end diameter of 48.3 mm, matching the opening of the PRO device. A flange mount is provided to ensure a uniform mechanical mounting interface. The flange mount converts the round tube connection into a mechanically compatible interface to the basic adapter. The flange of the flange mount has the same drilling pattern as the basic adapter. This means all couplings of the support arm or pedestal systems with mechanical interface can be used for the basic adapter.
