Advanced safety concept
The two acknowledgement buttons (acc. to EN 60204-1) with three switching steps each ensure the protection of personnel and machines in critical situations. They are integrated into the handle on the back.
The STOP button (to EN 60204-1) is hard-wired and positively latches when pressed. It can be looped into the emergency-stop circuit of a plant in which case it takes on the functionality of an emergency stop button. SIMATIC Mobile Panels and Clients offer the option of making mobile safety functions available at any point of a machine or plant.
STOP and acknowledgement buttons are implemented according to safety regulations with two circuits, and comply with the requirements of Category 3 PLd according to DIN EN ISO 13849-1:2008.
