The optional SINUMERIK direct key module provides an additional connection of the 2 ? 8 vertical softkeys as direct keys to the PROFIBUS DP, if no SINUMERIK Push Button Panel or machine control panel with connection of the direct keys is available or if the direct key commands cannot be transferred over the Thin Client.
