SINVERT PVS central inverters
With our SINVERT inverters, you can build PV installations ranging from small-scale commercial and industrial plants of 10 kilowatts or more up to large-scale photovoltaic power plants with megawatt capacity.
Versatile and flexible
SINVERT PVM string inverters are available with power outputs of 10, 13, 17 and 20 kW. The modular system concept simplifies planning and assembly: You need fewer units and less cabling than with conventional solutions.
SINVERT PVS central inverters are available with power outputs of 350, 500, 600, 700, 1 000, 1 050, 1 200, 1 400, 1 500, 1 800, 2 000 and 2 400 kW. This modular system concept simplifies planning. SINVERT PVS compact central inverters are available as single units or integrated in completely prewired inverter stations which include medium-voltage components.

SINVERT PVM compact string inverters in degree of protection IP65 are very resistant to environmental influences and extremely rugged due in part to the absence of any external fans.

Understanding what UL is all about.
Our SINVERT products are not just intended for the IEC market – many devices also have UL approval, thus giving photovoltaic plant builders access to the North American market.
Special approvals which do not correspond to IEC guidelines are needed for equipment exported to North America. Guidelines applicable to the IEC market define only the main functions of systems, but do not specify technical details. On the other hand, the guidelines relevant to the North American market describe in detail, for example, how a system is to be assembled.
As early as the design stage, UL requirements are incorporated into our SINVERT units.
It is important for our customers either to understand the main differences between these two technical worlds, or to work with a manufacturer/supplier who can deliver the right products and expertise.
This is another area where Siemens makes a strong partner.
