Standard application for light control
The lighting control application is an efficient and cost-effective option for realizing large-scale lighting control systems such as are used in supermarkets, furniture stores and DIY stores.
The power bus is formed by the BD01 or BD2 busway system from Siemens, depending on the actual power requirement.
CD-K busbar systems, acting simultaneously as the carrier system for the lighting elements, feed the standard outgoing enclosures equipped with miniature circuit breakers or fuses. The cost-effective and efficient control of large-scale lighting systems is thus possible.
The DALI (European Installation Bus) or KNX bus systems are suitable for standard applications . The outgoing point, i. e. power and bus, can be adapted to actual operating requirements even when the busbar systems are live.
Possible functions of the lighting control system
Three times single-pole switching (L1, L2, L3) or 1/3, 2/3, 3/3 control
- Feedback of switching states
- Lamp test
- Recording of operating hours/operating cycles
- Dimming
Standard application for consumption recording
The consumption recording application enables the central recording of distributed power meters.
The time-consuming reading of meters on site is no longer necessary. Linking the consumption recording through the data bus to a visualization or I&C system creates maximum transparency in the power distribution board. Recorded continuously, the collected measured values can be assigned in a central office to the respective cost centers. An analysis of the recorded data can be used to assess trends and histories.
The combinations of outgoing units and device enclosures are available optionally with calibrated or non-calibrated power meters for the quick and transparent presentation of power consumption values at the power outgoing points.
The power bus is formed by the BD2, LD or LX busway system from Siemens, depending on the actual power requirement. Converter kits (calibrated and non-calibrated) are available for the various outgoing enclosures and current strengths.
Possible functions of the consumption recording application
- Recording of consumption data
- Reset of meter readings
- Indication of centralized faults
- Signaling of meter overflow, retrieval of historical data
Standard application for switching and signaling
The switching and signaling application enables the remote switching and remote monitoring of power and motor feeders.
The central recording of switching and operating states provides a high level of transparency in the power supply. In the event of a fault such as short-circuiting or overload release, its type and location are detected quickly and efficiently, effectively helping to increase the availability of the power supply.
The power bus is formed by the BD2, LD or LX busway system from Siemens, depending on the actual power requirement. The combinations of standard outgoing enclosures and standard device enclosures equipped with the respective switching devices enable the centrally controlled switching and monitoring of the circuit breakers.
The AS-Interface or PROFIBUS bus systems are suitable for standard applications.
Possible functions of the switching and signaling application
- Central recording of switching and operating states
- Local and central switching
- Switch-on monitoring by means of an integrated run-time monitor
- Fault signaling inputs
- Centralized fault signaling
- Short-circuit signaling
- Overload signaling
- Recording of operating hours and operating cycles
- Limit value signaling
