Renishaw non-contact tool setting software for use with the NC4 tool setter provides a user-friendly, GUI-based programming platform for automated tool setting. Available cycles allow beam alignment and system calibration, automated tool length and diameter setting, plus broken tool detection. Advanced cycles cover applications such as detection of excessive tool run-out and monitoring machine growth due to temperature changes.
