The SIPLUS Motion Control System comprises three components:

• SIMOTION Engineering System
  It enables motion control, PLC and technological functions to be incorporated into one comprehensive, integrated system and makes the required tools available. From programming and parameter assignment, testing and commissioning through to diagnostics.
• SIMOTION Runtime software modules
  They make the various motion control and technology functions available. The overall functionality of the system can be customized absolutely individually to the machinery by selecting the corresponding modules.
• SIMOTION hardware platforms
  They are based on the SIMOTION hardware platforms and complete the SIPLUS system. The application created with the Engineering System and the corresponding Runtime software modules can be used on different hardware platforms. Meaning that the platform best suited to the machinery is always available.
