SICAM P8505 device is used in single-phase systems, threephase systems and four-phase systems (with neutral conductors). It is used primarily in power utilities, but also in other industrial and commercial applications. The web server integrated into the device is used to configure the parameters and output measured values via HTML pages on a connected PC / laptop. In devices with displays, the parameters can also be configured with the function keys on the front of the device, and the measured values can be output to the display. The output variables can also be transmitted to control or other systems via the communications interfaces (Ethernet, e.g., IEC 61850 Ed2) in the form of digital data.
