The pre-assembled round cable is made of 16 or 50 individual cores with a cross-section of 0.14 mm2. The two ends are each assembled with an insulation-displacement connector. With the round cable version 4 x 16 to 1 x 50 pin, there are four 16-pin insulation-displacement connectors (side of front plug-in module) allocated to a 50-pin insulation-displacement connector (side of terminal module) by means of a 50-pin cable with a cross-section of 0.14 mm2. The round cable is available in shielded and unshielded versions of various lengths.
The round-sheath ribbon cable is sold only by the meter and is assembled by the user with help of a crimping tool (to be ordered separately). This cable can easily be stripped at any point and fitted with the available insulation-displacement connector. The flat-ribbon cable consists of a 16-pin flat multicore cable with a cross-section of 0.14 mm2. It is available as a 16-pin shielded/unshielded version or a 2 x 16-pin unshielded versions in lengths of 30 m and 60 m.
