Link reactors for frequency converters are inserted behind the input rectifier in the voltage link. The reactors limit the circuit feedback which can arise in the form of harmonics. They also reduce the load current peaks in the DC link capacitors, which greatly reduces component stress in the DC link. This results in longer converter life. A link reactor can be permanently integrated in the DC link of the converter during the converter's development or provision is made for terminals which enable an additional inductance to be connected into the DC link. Given the right dimensioning, link reactors can be an alternative to three-phase mains reactors. Their use is recommended when the network inductance of the supplying network is very small. All the reactors presented above can be customized through adaptations to the winding and to the core air gaps. If you are interested in any of our products or need further assistance, please |
