The self-aligning bearing for the CC series consists of three pressure parts, a base plate and a top plate.

The self-aligning bearing of series K consists of two pressure plates.

In combination with the respective load cell, the above two components form a self-centering unit. This insures that the top plate or the upper pressure plate, and thus the load bearer, can follow horizontal guide elements (e.g. in the event of temperature fluctuations). The structural design of the self-aligning bearing generates a resetting force that depends on the size of the guide element and the load applied.

The load cell is not part of the scope of delivery of the self-aligning bearing.
