Lead-in protection

This is a purely mechanical protection of the busbar system for wall and ceiling lead-in. The lead-in protection can be retrofitted.

BD2-400-D and BD2-1250-D: Bushing fuse for currents up to 400 A or from 630 to 1250 A

End flange

An end flange is provided to terminate the busbar line. 2 sizes are available

Left: BD2-400-FE: End flanges for currents up to 400 A

Right: BD2-1250-FE: End flanges for currents from 630 to 1250 A

Optional equipment for IP54

Upright installation

You can increase the degree of protection to IP54 by adding an additional upper flange to the connection positions.

Flat installation

The IP54 higher degree of protection is achieved by fitting an additional upper flange at the connection points, at the end flange and at the tap-off points.

Vertical installation

You can increase the degree of protection by adding additional flanges to all connection positions and all outgoing points (rear and front).

The higher degree of protection IP55 is achieved by fitting additional seals and a flange at the connection points and at the outgoing points (not in conjunction with­ feeder units and­ flexible junction units suitable).

Outgoing units

You can increase the degree of protection to IP55 by adding additional seals to the outgoing unit.

Mounting bracket

The universal mounting bracket can be used for all types of vertical and flat mounting.

BD2-400-BB and DB2-1250-BB: Mounting brackets up to 400 A or from 630 to 1250 A

Spacing bracket

Spacing bracket to compensate for building tolerances between the busbar enclosure and the wall or ceiling. The spacing bracket is pushed onto the BD2-...-BB mounting bracket and screwed into place. Can also be used as interim mounting if BD2 lines are arranged vertically.

Spacers

Spacers to compensate for wall or ceiling distance between infeed enclosures and trunking units. The spacers are snapped onto the mounting bracket.

Mounting elements for vertical lines

These comprise a wall mounting element and optional equipment for ceiling mounting.

To compensate for any unevenness in the wall, the mounting elements are adjustable.
On the maximum load of the mounting element on request.

The ceiling mounting must be used as a support element for transitions from horizontal to vertical lines.
